Problematic Mochino!

Keria OR Telinga Keling???

Okay... I know what peple will think; 'stupid title'. NOOO, I'm serious here! I just learned how to make kuih keria that turn out looking like kuih telinga keling! You want to know why??? because I used purple yam!
F.Y.I. this is how kuih keria should look like.

And this how kuih telinga keling should look like..
This is the type of yam that I should use..
And this was the yam that I used..

The method is very easy! Well, my method atleast.. Boil the yam and prepare flour.

Mash up those yams and a bit of flour till they appear dough-like..


Make them into 'O' shape while you heat up the oil in the pan..

Fry them..

After fried put them aside..

Boil some water and add sugar. Don't put too much water and make sure they are just 'cukup-cukup'..

Put the fried dough into the water and sugar mixture...

Flip 'em till the mixture dry and take 'em out once the flaky sugar coated appear..

Okay.. mine didn't have the flaky texture because I didn't wash my pan! :P But this babies tasted superb and soft!!
Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.. Or, brown on the outside but PURPLE on the inside!!

EARTHQUAKE!!

Not literally earthquake.. I'm referring to The Swensen's 50% off for Earthquake Ice-cream on tuesdays. Went there today right after Chemistry class with Denise, Ian and Mages.


Here the 8 flavors with toppings: I picked orange sherbet and pistachio almond, Mages picked mango and cookies n' cream, Ian picked macadamia and yam, Denise picked chewy chocolate and thin mint. All so yummy yumm!

Later after the Ice-cream lunch, we headed to Blook. They're having pretty good sales there. And poor me, I didn't saw the prediction of being tortured as their paper doll. Ian and Denise forced me to put on some stuff they got for me from the racks and model for them. It was embarrassing.
When I was in the fitting room. Denise locked me for pictures to be taken by Ian.
Here I was with the "I-am so-freakin' happy-smile"! HURRRRRGGGHHH~~~~~

But it turned up to be quite fun actually. And tiring. Got home at 6.30 pm.

Nearly got bustard experience!

This post is for 3 days ago. I was to weak and blank to type.

My fever got worse, and so goes to my throat and eyes. My body was so burning inside till it made my eyes became red. I felt like they're going to explode or something.


p/s: I forgot to rotate these pictures. The redness of my eyes couldn't be seen clearly due to the usage of 2 mega pixel, HP camera..*Low quality. And yes, I looked dull and ugly..


So B came to treat me. He cooked for me and take care of me a little bit. That particular day, Mama had a Human Resources International Congress at Golden Horses. The course should end at 6.30 pm but Mama told me that she's going to ditch at 4.30 pm.

Follow me here.. Mama okay with B coming to the house.. NO PROBS on that. But she told me like trillions of time of not letting boys into the house whenever there's no parents at home. But I ignored that. So I usually make B leave earlier than my parents arrive or sit outside as though as I obeyed their words.

But that day, I fell asleep because I was really weak and B slept next to me. We slept around 2pm something. But suddenly I woke up around 3pm due to having a sort of weird and fishy instinct. I left B and open the back door to take in dry clothes. Suddenly I heard the sound of my house gate opening and the sound of Getz engine approaching. *MAMA

"B! Mama da balik la!!"

I told him to escape through the back door and wait for better situation to run home. I immediately greeted Mama and while she was closing the gate, I took B's slipper and ran towards the back door and passed to him. I stalked Mama by asking *bla,bla,blaa... Apparently she ditched the course after lunch time! And then the next thing I realized, B safely escaped and Mama didn't notice anything. Pheewww....nearly bustard eh?

I thanked Gad for giving us the chance. Huhh... Next time, got to have better precautions!!

Damn!! Damn!!! I'm free!

Yearp.. today I had my MUET speaking test at 9 am..

It was disastrous...
I know I could have done it better..
Guess I had a mental block due to nervous breakdown..
Huh.. I kept repeating the same points and got stuttered in between..

Damn...

Ahh,however I'm freed from any exam!

Anyway, B Came to my house at 5.30 am in the morning and followed me to SEGi damansara.
He waited for me till I completed my exam. Then we waited for Denise,she finished at 10am.

Then we took Rapid KL to KL central and took monorail to Bukit Bintang..

WE WENT FOR KARAOKE!
At Red Box in Pavillion..
It was so worth it! RM18++ per person= 11am till 3pm+buffet+free drink refills+3 mics+ many song choices+private room with toilet and very comfy..

I had fun.. REAL FUN..
Especially with B next to me and cuddling..And my besties Nynize and Ian..

Caught for ditching school!

This so far is my weirdest year ever! Coz guest what? I'm doing my school's homework for the first time in my entire life! Hahah~ I have to b'cause I'll be sitting for SPM this year! I was absent on yesterday and tonnes of homeworks on my floor yet to be done.. Guess they were too much to be finished by me. So,I've decided to skip school to get them done without my parents knowing. Everything went good today and I thought I was really off the hook. Then yet,the house phone is ringing.. I was not supposed to answer the call because no one should know that I'm available to answer. But then,I think rather than my parents assumed of something else,then I'll better just pick up the call and confessed. It was mama who called me. How she knew? My Makcik van reported to her.. She said I should ask for permissions coz she is flexible enough.. But bottomline is my performance on studies~ Thanx Ma~k then,I'l better post this before the next day come!
